Here’s a summary of the new stuff:
· When panning and zooming we’ve added a bit of acceleration for a very smooooooth ride when zooming and panning.
· General performance boost if you have many bit map items (we’re experimenting with a performance boost for vector graphics too which I hope will be successful and come out soon)
· Less intrusive Ahead logo pre-loader – we even think it’s too subtle 
· Many small bug fixes
· Main Editor UI changes:
o When logging in you will be met by a simple UI – this we have done to reduce the barrier for the first time user. Just click the Advanced Menu button to get your old UI back.
o Create Scenes: Now you can “draw” scenes instead of only making them as your current view. Just click Create Scene and click on the space and drag. If you want the old way of doing it just double click the Create Scene button.
o Scene Display:
Instead of viewing the scenes as tinted areas we’ve inverted the coloring so that it’s the outside of the scenes that is tinted. This way you can actually see what’s inside the scene when scenes are turned on
o Space Boundary: We’ve also added a visual boundary of your space, to give you a better spatial idea of where you are. You can turn it off in the tool palette.
We’ll do another few UI updates in the next week or so to tweak the user experience. And after that a new manual will be out.
